One thing that Tomkins has that Myler doesn't is a good defence.



Myler really struggles on that side of his game.





Overall though there isn't a great deal between the pair going off this seasons from and i'm just glad GB have both coming through.

Shame Dobbo isn't English, twice the player of both of them.

Tomkins has a better kicking game and a better running game as well. Myler is great running at the line to create stuff.

Cracking player.



I'd love to see a halfback pairing of Dobson and Tomkins. That would have a great balance to it.

I don't really get the Sam Tomkins Hate Factor thing! He seems like a nice enough lad with some brains and a bagload of talent. I just want to take him home and mother him. I can only think that it's more Jealousy Factor than anything else...

I don't get the hate for Tomkins, very talented young English player who is a joy to watch (apart from when playing against us!).



Don't get the big attitude some seem to think about him??

This 'attitude' is standing up to players sledging him.

A cas fan on their board said he has a 'terrible attitude' which made me smile. He's got so many good points but above all his indivudual skills his attitude is by far the best thing about him and the major reason i think we can all sit here and be very confident he'll go on and become a top top player.



He hates losing, he won't let anybody bully him and he gives every single thing he does his all.



He's a winner.

He's a great lad - down to earth, funny with loads of time and patience with the kids. He's ran the wigan summer camps before now, and is a regular having a kick about with the kids at St. Pats.



I think we can all be confidant that this mass hysteria about his "attitude is completely down to envy so bollox to the lot em, the sad pathetic know nowts.
