We can play rugby with or without him we have proven that this year. Be useful to have him around going into the playoffs in case one of the halves / hookers get injured.

Yes but our line defence isn't that good against the top teams, play well away from our line. None of our halves have had their kicking boots on this term, so even if he adds that it will be a massive bonus.

But Hull were awful so lets not get carried away, nice win though anyway

Kicking was spot on, something we have lacked this season when Tommy and O'Loughlin have been kicking. It's been alrigh, but not great like it was tonight.

TBH Hull weren't that bad.. Its just we were great in defence and in attack we were very good..



Its easy to look at the scoreline and think Hull FC were poor, but IMO we could have put 60-70 points on them if they were as poor as some of the sides we've played this year.

Was a return to his prime years tonight - makes it a very tough decision regarding which way we should go come the playoffs when everyone will hopefully be fit. There's so many options whichever way Maguire goes there will be someone saying he's got it wrong.

Had his best game in a Wigan shirt, and a great performance overall. And to be honest, all the positives he was doing had nothing to do with any mistakes or lack of performance from the opposition. Great shift in both attack and defence. I also though Sam looked better at FB today.
