Sinfield got penalised for exactly the same about 5minutes later so dont go too OTT about it.

of course he didn't, theres no argument that we could have still won the game had we kept our composure,,,,, but include us missing j.tompkins for a period after being booted in the head..(something players have been easily binned for in the past....) and farrell being questionably sin binned.. and the game could of been very different.



i hope the players can take some positives from this and learn some lessons, but the best team lost. and to say its gutting would be an underestimation. but i guess thats rugby league....

Sorry, the best team never loses. The aim of rugby league is to score more points than your opposition, if you do that your the winner and thus, the best team.

Have to agree. I wasn't at all impressed with the decision against O'Loughlin but he evened it up by penalising Sinfield. Had he given that decision against Wigan then we could have had a justified argument.

Wigan unlucky, best team for most of the game. Penalty count was just about even, but O'Loughlin cost you a lot of territory in the second half by ball stealing. Leeds didn't seem to know what tactics to employ. I was amazed that they chose to kick two penalties in the time that Farrell was in the sin bin.

I think it was avery tense game which we dominated for most parts we just needed to be a bit more composed at times. Like when Sam could have put a kick in to amos instead of throwing a daft pass. And the kick charged down by Peacock he should have stood a lot deeper.Dont get me wrong Im a big tomkins fan he will learn from this hopefully grand final time.

Inexperience, but yes he will learn from that game and the couple of mistakes he made, very good young "British" player player though.

When there is a bigger margin, say 10 points, then it is unlikely that the better team has lost.
