As for our own performance, you're right NK about the last 3 weeks. The lethargy was evident at Salford and that's why I said MM had made his first mistake in not resting players last week. Instead of fresh players coming into the game this week against SL opposition, we picked up 3 more injuries from that game and had no energy in attack or defense for much of tonight's. The fact that we were so comprehensively out-enthused in the 2nd half illustrates that perfectly for me. This wasn't like the Bradford defeat where we simply put the cue on the rack. Tonight we had no cue to put there! Lessons to be leaned indeed!

There was nothing wrong with Farrells try it happended right in front of me it was a try fair and square.

If you lose that and saints win tomorrow + next week as well as warrington doing the same theres going to be a real log jam in the top 4.

In fairness it shouldn't have needed to have been down to Farrell's "try" as the buck stops with us for blowing an 18 point half time lead. Obviously no lesson learned from Odsal earlier in the season.

The speed at which Bentham said he was held up was unbelievable aswell imo. He said he was held up whilst Farrell was still squiming about and he manged to turn and get the ball down anyway.



Still it's no excuse. We got exactly what we deserved.

After todays performance I think we are indesperate need of an organising scrum half and a decent prop instead of Fielden.

Credit to Quins they fully deserved it. I just hope they play like that against everyone else from now on.

Got to agree, well done Harlequins, totally outplayed us in the second half and went away with a deserved win. This result has been in the offing for us for a few weks now and we have to take it on the chin and move on. Wont be the only surprise this year just hope we learn from it.

a 32-2 second half(at home) score is unacceptable, Quins took advantage of some really poor defending from Wigan and truly deserved their win , i suppose it was inevitable that we would play them just as they got everyone back

...but things have not looked good for a few weeks to be honest and we've scraped a few wins, this could be a big wake up call for Wigan , and we may now get to see how good we really are and how much of a motivator Maquire really is, tonight we looked flat and lacked the 2nd phase runners that we have had all season and has served us well... personally i think our squad is not strong enough to stay ahead of the pack when we get injuries...Tonight we were short on half backs and it showed ..i'm gutted we lost but we're still top and there's a long way to go. but to put it in perspective if someone had said to me at the start of the season that after 12 rds we'd be at least 2 points clear i'd have thought they were mad

I doubt that very much. Have a look at Phil Clarkes Sky column this week. You will see that for the third year in a row, Quins have had by far the least pens awarded.. FYI, you mob have been awarded 97 pens while Quins have have been given a mere 54. Bloody stinks
