Riddell has been a poor signing IMO, I had not seen enough of him to say anything before he played, everyone thought he would be quality but he has shown none of this appart from maybe one pass at Salford. Makes you wonder how much more solid a team we would be had we signed a world class half back and had Leuluai and McIlorum interchanging at hooker.

Another disapointing performance but the real problem was that our props just got owned big time.



I thought Adrian Morley was immense.



Not seen much quality from Piggy im afraid.

Tbh I had not seen much of Riddell before he came here.





He's been average so far. Not bad, not great.





Tbh the biggest problem we have is that he unbalances the squad.





We have 3 nines now. TL is not a 7, never in a million years, but he is a very good 9.

both our hookers last night threw out some terrible passes , riddells passes took an eternity to reach the first receiver, also most of them where forward, it looked an effort for him to bend down. if he is the best we can do it's time to wrap up.

Good point, he's not going to get away with those forward passes in every game, he was very lucky last night.

Riddell is fat, lazy, and useless...........And yet another cr@p hardly-heard-of Aussie that shouldnt be wearing a Wigan shirt.

Why are we even debating this?

I await the hoots of derision but I actually think we have missed Millard since he left.



The legs may not have been there but he was game savvy which is something McClorum may never be, I thought Riddell would be but have yet to see any real evidence of it to date.

Valid point, another point is that Millard was also hard as nails! few messed with him!

A player doesn't make it in the NRL if he is "fat, lazy and useless" and I can't wait for the day when I get to throw this back in your face. He's a proven hooker who has travelled across the world, leaving most of his friends etc behind. GIVE HIM TIME!



He isn't going to find form straight away, he just isn't, I know few on here would be given a year to get on their feet in a new job, but the chances are our jobs arn't based on form, sport is however.



At the minute my money is on hime coming good and being a decent aquisition for us.
