The Wire team names spelling may not be 100% as the printing on the team sheet photocopies is hand written and not fully legible.
Rhys Evans the Wire fullback looks a really good prospect and the Wire no.7 O'Brien kicked us to death.'"
Good to see Thompson back playing, how did he go?
Same for Greg Burke and Ryan Owen?

| How did Ryan Owen get on? Always looked a really good player when I reffed him. I thought he was on Wigan's books though, suprised they let him go

Nah I've definitely seen him in Wigan colours, maybe it was service area level.

| The Welsh twins that play for Wire are both good prospects, Rhys is the fullback/centre I would think he is the better of the two, expect to see him in the first team in the next two years.

Pretty average I'd say. The scoreline flattered Wigan in truth

| Thought Warrington dominated the Wigan youngsters. The teams were pretty evenly matched, as 5 or 6 on both sides were having their first year in Academy Rugby, with others only in their second year as I understand it.
Thought the Kicking game from Warrington was outstanding and their attack in general was very good. Warrington kept punishing wigan with some superb kicks. Great game plan and well executed. I think they play again in August so that should be an interesting encounter.
Wigan are a good side of course what impressed me was the pace of the game.

That's an accurate and reasoned assessment. Wigan really failed to deal with Warringtons kicking game, particularly the high kicks, and Rhys Evans looks to be an outstanding prospect.
