Just after a bit of advise please....



My missus is buying me and my son season tickets for 2012 and I am torn between South stand & East Stand.



The reason I would like the South stand is that my parents don't get to many games but as the South is un reserved seating they can come with us and we can sit together. Question is though - Are there generally many tickets available on a match by match basis ?



Any help would be much appreciated.

yes there are plenty of tickets available for the south stand on a match by match basis, you'll be more than fine

Another reason I am inclined to go for South is for the atmosphere.



Had some cracking away days last season behind the sticks and my 6 yr old loved it

South is fine for the majority of matches to buy match tickets on game day.



Exception being the bigger games (Stains & Wire).

Appart from wire, saints and the big one you should easily get tickets in the south.



Get in S2 in the south stand

You don't want to be associated with those riff raff.

Tbh I would go with East - Its only 10 quid more for the season ticket for a FAR better view.



If you have anyone who comes along with you to matchday who are not ST and want to sit near you and theres no seats near you- with the exception of Saints and Wire, you can just move to ES1/2 or ES7/8 anyway and sit where you want as these blocks never fill up and you will probably find anything up to 8 seats together here. OK so you'll be on the try lines and the view wont be as good as your normal ST spot, but it will still be a damn site better than anywhere in the south!



Added to this you can also always get the ticket office to swap your seats for one game and sit in another place closer in if you buy earlier.



Therefore Id see it as the position being exactly the same for both - You can sit with non S/T holders at all games barring probably saints and wire due to the fact that you'll probably stuggle to buy tickets from general sale for the south for these games, and youll also not be able to sit in ES1/2 7/8 in these games without being challenged by someone who has actually bought the seats.



Go with east mate....the better view, and lack of aled up chavy 15 year olds mean that for 10 quid its a no brainer!

I can't get to every game so I miss about 3 each season. No matter who we play, I have never missed out on tickets in south stand. I do get them early to make sure tho.

You got a few numptys in the south stand plus you cant see the game proper



West is the best stand in the ground and it's not even close good view,good company and a good sing along dont need anything else
