Did anyone read yesterday's Sun about the Hull game? It said Gleeson was there watching his mate Longy.

It seems his future isn't with us to me if he's choosing to watch an opposition team rather than the club that pays his wages.

Especially when all our live games this year have shown sidelined players watching us from the stands both home and away.

Without going into detail those two would be better of a hundred miles from each other (for both of their sakes).

If it does happen though Hull deserve everything they get....especially with another former Wigan forward in their team as well.

Maybe the club don't want him around whilst he's suspended??

I think the whole saga needs sorting out once and for all.



It is bound to have an effect on the squad albeit a slight one but that is still too much.

needs sorting this for our sake so we know wats gone on and were our squads at and to possibly use the cap space for a new back as im sure glesson was on a fair wage

It's had an effect in that I think we're missing Gleeson's defence, but the guy's clearly gone, so we need to get used to it.



As for it being sorted - you can't rush legalities.

if he was to say he wasnt walking away and wanted his salary paid up would that count against the cap or would it be like a kind of compensation so we still had cap space

It's purely speculation as no one knows for sure what occurred but if his actions were deemed to be sack-able I believe compensation would be invalid due to Martin breaching his contract terms. It should be noted this all rumour and hear say as no official statement has been made by the club.
