He had a superb Wigan career and was always a geniune 100%er every game but I'll remember him most for the fact he came out of retirement to help us in 2006 when we were rock bottom, even though his knee was f**ked having been forced to retire a year earlier. I'm not sure he actually made any impact what so ever on the pitch during his return off memory but perhaps it was no coincidence that the return of his presence coincided with the start of "the great escape" that year and maybe even our good fortune this year.
That gesture in 2006 though - you cannot buy loyalty for the cause like that. It kind of gets forgotten in the context of his whole Wigan career but those six games of effort meant as much to me as the infamous "foot of god" (as I call it) Cup Final.

If there was an additional definition for the word Legend in the dictionary it'd be two words "Kris Radlinski".
This programme is well deserved, long overdue and should be an interesting insight on one of RL's true gentlemen.
