I sure wigan will still make the top 8. But start of the Season most were saying theres only Wigan who can challenge the BIG 2.

Yes. We'll probably be about 5th/6th.

If they perform like they did tonight, consistently, I don't see why not.

playing like that no reason why we shouldnt finish in the top 4! after half of the season last year saints where lingering around 4th/5th, end of the season they where in the grand final! now is the time for wigan to kick on.



tonight was an assesment which shown what we can do! no team bar leeds or saints could of lived with wigan tonight!

Lets not get carried away, tonight was a very good performance and we deserved a draw at least I thought. BUT you watch, we will not pick up maximum points on Monday versus Catalans & next week versus Celtic.

We will screw up one of them......and for this, no we won't hit the top 6.

Unfortunately I am inclined to agree.

I think people are getting carried away, Wigan's performance tonight was not that good. Saints looked tired and by their standards it was an average performance. Saints did enough to win it.

Its not about getting carried away, most of us wanted to see some effort and commitment from the players as this has in my opinion been the main barrier to putting good performances together. If we can keep up the hard work that we showed in this match then I feel we have a decent enough squad to do pretty well, that said its a big 'if'.

Well I've just watched the first half again on SKY and we lead the breaks 8-3 so far, so i'll disagree with you. With a little more application we could have been at least 18-6 up at HT. A tired Saints team is better than a non tired team outside the top two., so to not only compete but shade the match I thought was a big improvement on where we have been recently against Hudds / Cas / Wakey.

i feel wigan will make the top 6. they played well against saints, but they looked a little short of ideas near the goalline when they had the 3-4 back to back sets. or maybe saints goalline defence is maybe just too good?



against a "lesser" side than saints the possession they had would have resulted in many more points than 12 so i think they will finish 4th maybe 5th.
