To me it was blatent.



Thaler even put is hand to ear in the game and ignored the call from the video ref.



I know it was with about 25 seconds to go but quick scrum and kick like first half anything could have happened.

Maybe. We could argue all day on it but they deserved the luck in my view from what was a terrible kick from Leuluai. It wanted to be bombed towards to in goal to put pressure on them (all the players were racing for that) and he kicked it behind them nearer the 20. Very poor!

it was were I was stud an it was a blatant knock on so it was nt that bad of a kick he could of kicked any kick but if the officials are going to turn there back s what's the point , but at end of the day we had our chance s we played to the whistle an never gave up an both teams played well for the condition bring on the wire I say can't wait

I was going mad, out of the 15,000+ crowd i think honestly only 4 people didnt think it was not a knock on.

Get out of it - it was a shocker. Watch it again. No arguments Meli fumbled it (we can argue whether it was knock on or backwards all day) but it fell straight to Gilmour because all the Wigan players had shot forward past Meli expecting it to be kicked towards the in goal. If Tommy had put that in the in goal we'd have probably scored in my view the way Meli flaps in the air. Even had we caught that we still had too much to do to try and score.

The way Wigan kicked it was a good kick out of all the kicks through the match

A fair point. But doesn't say a lot for our kicking game.

We just paniced and we played very defensive in the last 10 mins.



Kicking the ball directly into touch with 8 mins on the clock which ended up getting deflected of a saints player and from then on they built the pressure the error came from phelps and they scored.



Re watch the match after Riddell negatively kicked the ball towards touch the game changed and St Helens lifted becuase they knew Wigan had settled for what they had

Conveniently missing/forgetting the 2 yards forward pass from Riddell to Tomkins a couple of plays earlier I see

There were two forward passes in the build up to that. The one from Riddell I defy anyone to watch on the video and tell me it wasn't, and the second one I was dead in line with and was at least a yard forward. In addition, for the kick, the Wigan man was several yards offside (I was in line with that too).

But it wasnt as blatent as the Meli knock on
