I'd agree with that NK. No need to rush AK as Eckersley is doing so well and I doubt he'd be expected to kick so soon after an MCL. He's supposedly fully fit and raring to go according to Josie on the other site, so who knows.
For anyone who hasn't seen it yet the squad is:
1 Jai Field 2 Abbas Miski 3 Adam Keighran 4 Jake Wardle 5 Liam Marshall 6 Bevan French 7 Harry Smith 9 Brad O?Neill 10 Luke Thompson 11 Junior Nsemba 12 Liam Farrell 13 Kaide Ellis 16 Liam Byrne 17 Kruise Leeming 20 Harvie Hill 21 Sam Walter?s 22 Zach Eckersley 23 Tom Forber 26 Jacob Douglas 29 Taylor Kerr
Wouldn't surprise me if Miski was asked if he could get through the last couple of games knowing Keighran was coming back this week. Abbas has done a great job as he always does. Perhaps they'll send him for the surgery now and go with Eckersley on the wing going forward.
Thompson being available makes me much more confident.
I would start Brad O'Neill assuming the coaching staff feel he's ready for it - for me he's a different level to Leeming although he can hopefully still be very effective making an impact off the bench.
Will be a very tough game regardless - great to see the improvement of Hull this year. Whether they can maintain their form throughout the year is the big question.
I've been so impressed with Hull this season. They're still having their usual injury crisis but Cartwright has managed to built a spirit and resilience that is over coming any problems. In saying that, it's all on us this weekend. If our attitude is right, we should win the game regardless of how well Hull play but we've seen us go there in the wrong frame of mind previously.
I'd be surprised if Miski plays on Sunday as I was told that he was having his op straight after the Saints game. Clearly he hasn't had it yet if he's in the squad.

Maybe they've hung back on it to see how AK is closer to game day?
