We couldn't even get to that on Saturday. Our inability when our heads go for us to settle & just play 4/5 boring sets to get us in a game is frightening. The likes of Finch, SOL, Sam & Smith should be able to get 4/5 simple sets completed.
That was my biggest worry on Sat.
catch, forward run at pace, catch, hit, push through, floor, play the ball, hooker, pass, forward run at pace, catch, hit, push through, floor, play the ball, hooker, pass, forward run at pace, catch, hit, push through, floor, play the ball, hooker, pass, forward run at pace, catch, hit, push through, floor, play the ball, hooker, pass, forward run at pace, catch, hit, push through, floor, play the ball, hooker, pass, player kicks to open space. If we are at 75% completion rate at coming from our line I'd be very surprised.
On Saturday Wigan came to the HJ with a game plan. Within the first 5 minutes it was clear that Warrington had disrupted it. But thats OK because Wigan had a game plan. And then the more obvious it was that the game plan was in disarray........its OK because Wigan had a game plan. Total inflexability in the system coupled with a whole shed-load of underperforming cost Wigan big-time.
Watching Warrington can be a nightmare at times when we start to play the "off-the-cuff" stuff but on many occassions its that ability that is currently winning us games.

It wasdn't the plan so much as the execution of that plan. I'm pretty sure the game plan didn't include stray passes, wayward kicks, forward passes and missed tackles.

Well done mate your post was nearly as long-winded as my boring posts are. (I’m only joking about yours mate) I take your point.
I think we are writing ourselves off a bit too quickly here. We got beat by Warrington because we dropped too much ball and we were dominated in the forwards. The more we dropped the ball the more we got dominated and vice versa, then because of these two problems we then start getting tired and panicked so we drop off tackles, rush out of the line and give away penalties. Leeds was a similar story. We know that we are capable of far better than what we showed at the weekend we just need to stick hold of the ball and muscle up
catch, forward run at pace, catch, hit, push through, floor, play the ball, hooker, pass, forward run at pace, catch, hit, push through, floor, play the ball, hooker, pass, forward run at pace, catch, hit, push through, floor, play the ball, hooker, pass, forward run at pace, catch, hit, push through, floor, play the ball, hooker, pass, forward run at pace, catch, hit, push through, floor, play the ball, hooker, pass, player kicks to open space.
