What started off a great day, short journey of 16 minutes to Widnes, just never got started on the pitch. I think this is a thread about Sunday's match, which many of us did attend.

Yes, you started the thread with the intention of using it to be critical of one of the players. However, just about everybody ignored your negativity and talked about the game, but you still claim some kind of ownership of the thread, and then use your "ownership" to abuse another poster.



Gutters, when you stick with facts and figures, you post interesting stuff, though often with more repetition than necessary. So, why not do that, in which case some more of us would consider the points you make?

I posted in another thread the concept of how I would increase attendances at the club and the cost involved. This was as a result of a direct question posed by Michael and what'dya know, he immediately dismissed the facts and figures out of hand.



This is why the repeated comments about Hughes record of failings pop up.....because some people really do believe in Santa, the tooth fairy and the promises made by the club and its owner. I get it that some of the remaining fans just want to watch RL, but surely the penny will drop that the reason the club is starting to feel like a community again is because we've become a community club.....playing on a park pitch with players friends and family outnumbering actual spectators.



I get not one iota of pleasure from saying "I told you so", nor do I enjoy pulling up jaybs and his waning PR skills, but he felt the need to make a pointed comment as to the thread and its purpose so I was obliged to set him straight....again.



By the way, well spotted on the reason d'etre behind the thread. The concept of the game last week being a Grand Final is laughable.........it was nothing more than an afterthought and the fact that our full time team got absolutely hammered by part time and U20's players should be setting off alarm bells for the remaining few.....we need to recruit very well to stand a chance in 2016......and Hughes has said we will have the best or equal best squad in the comp........there's that tooth fairy again!!!!!

Let's just say that our perspectives are different.



One thing in common though, we both attended the same number of games in 2015, unlike jaybs for all his faults, real or imagined.

Not sure what your point is? the thread is or is titled "Grand Final" strange how you like to use accusations about others to defend yourself, BroncoOnion says, your "facts & figures" are interesting, but the problem is you do not state them once, but go on over and over again repeating them.



I am pleased the Grand Final is sold out for the first time this weekend, especially when Union also have a sold out game on the same day in Manchester, I think it is our first sell out of the Grand Final which is superb, now I just hope we can get it right with the International games against New Zealand, everything has to be pushed into the London match to make sure it is a sell out.

If this weekends GF is anything like the NRL GF last week we are in for a treat.
