Quotepoplar panther="poplar panther"Gutters puts his money and effort where his mouth is, and is therefore, IMO, entitled to his opinion. One which I agree with.
Of course Gutterfax is entitled to his opinions. I can see how passionate he is about things and his view from his perspective of things. It's just frustration. He has a thought on how things should happen. If they don't. He opens up.
I do have one thought on marketing. This is purely hypothetical as i would have no idea if the club has any money to spend at all.
Rather than advertise in newspapers, maybe we should perhaps target certain specific groups via the net using banners or pop up ads. etc. etc. with links to the home site. Take the sportinglife website for example. Here are their prices from their owners, who coincidentally are BskyB. Go for sports lovers, gamblers, expats via this medium. People could easily write a list of relevant sites without thinking if they tried. Just a passing thought. And like I said completely irrelevant if the club can't fund it or it's too expensive.

1.5p per click isn't too bad but would our banners generate the kind of revenue they are looking for, you are not gonna get a decent banner spot if you were only getting 3000 clicks per month.
