how many seasons has O'Donnell signed for you lot for?

If a guy like LOD needs G&A on the field then it must be bad, hopefully we're all wrong but i suspect that his next game may be in Cardiff

NB saying it could be well into next season until we see him again.

we haven't had much luck with our imports recently, torrens,jensen,spring to mind.

Suspected ACL. Looked very similar to how Danny Kirmond did his knee. Tough on Luke after just coming back from an injury layoff.

I suspect that the lad just didn't rupture his ACL.



Like has been said previously, an injury that requires gas and air is generally worse than that.

And before people say what do I know...I have ruptured and re-ruptured my ACL as well as taking out the MCL and posterolateral corner ligament in the process. I never needed gas and air for that and I am a pussy!

big blow... hopefully makes a full recovery and see him back playing, but that wont be till half way through next season by the sounds of it!

seeing a big hard bloke like him laid on the field, not moving, almost in tears and screamin in pain and having oxygen makes you realise that every single player who plays this game for our entertainment risk serious injuries every time they take to the field.............i hope Luke makes a full recovery from this.....Get well soon LOD.

not heard anything from the scan?? obviously out for the season and likely half of next season too....if he ever comes back at all and plays for us again

ACL reconstructions are one of the hardest things to come back from and the liklihood of a reoccurence following this is high. Realistically if he does require a recon he will probably be out for the next 7-9 months. Fingers crossed his scan comes back better than we all think.

I wouldn't say the likliehood of a re-occurance after an operation is high. Lots of players have come back from such operations without any relapse.

What is does do though is take some mobility away and as has been seen with Kirmond and Hodgson you lose a bit of pace. O Donnell though should be ok in this aspect as you cannot lose what you don't have in the first place.
