Why keep putting it off, he has had a number of years as assistant, learning the ropes and will have picked up alot especially from N Brown.

Baloo has indicated he wants to be at the club by signing a 2 yr deal, he is thought of very highly in coaching circles and has respect both from the players and in the game in general this IMO says he is the man for the job.

i have a feeling that we will end up with the ex souths coach jt, with anderson as his 2nd in command with a view to replacing him after 2-3 years

Just can't see that sitting well with Fa'alogo.

how long has anderson being our assistant? just under brown, or did he help sharp aswell? 2 years under brown is a great education

i'd like to think that if a over seas coach was on the cards we would be looking at Steve Flooks, got a lot of time for this guy and read a lot of his stuff in RLCM seems to have a simiar aproach to coaching as Tony Smith and Nathen Brown, still reckon Baloo is about 2/3 years off being a permenant head coach. if he did get the role would we be wise to bring in a director of coaching ala Wires just to give baloo a bit of support and guidance. coaching is a very lonly world if the results dont go your way so support would be needed.

Completely off the top of my head but I wondered if Anderson took head coach's job, would Brad Drew become his assistant? He likes it here both at the club and living in Hudds. Or have I missed a report where he is going back to Oz next year. Surely we didn't sign him back just to play the odd game? He has bags of experience and I'm sure would help the younger players develop.

With Paul Cook stepping down as reserve coach I wonder if this would be a role Drew could do as a stepping stone. I'd love him to stay on as mentor to Robbo Lunt and Carlile

On the 606 forum someone has said Anderson has been offered the job and it will be anounced this week, i hope it is true as he will make a very good first team coach and it gets even better he is English. Who would we have as his assistant Cooke?

I would doubt most of the info you read on the 606 forum.
