I work with a big Town fan but he has already got his ticket for Wembley. He's just chuffed a Huddersfield team is playing there. I'm not a Town fan but I would be happy if they were to play there, and would probably go to Wembley to support them. Glory hunters eh?

i for one think town are taking the mick by selling tickets for a fiver on cup final day, to me it shows a complete lack of respect to the giants wembley apperance they are only bothered about town, i find it hard to believe that the giants would have done the same if the role was reveresed, in fact i seem to remember when town got in play offs the giants moved the game forward a day.

Town's fixture list is very clogged up at the moment, moving the game forward a day wasn't really a viable option if they want to perform at their best.

I dont see it, they couldnt move the day at all, but they did get the time moved, and why not offer cheap tickets, all teh RL fans will be Wembley anyway

It wasn't an option for Town to move the day of the game - Football League rules. Kick off is moved to lessen the extent to which the attendance will be affected and to give everyone a chance to at least see the final on TV. There is no way the £5 offer is going to stop anyone fancying a trip to Wembley from going - it's just another way to try and attract whatever other floating supporters there may be.



It's a real shame they couldn't have played the Yeovil match on another day though because both crowds will undoubtably be lower on the day.

I just hope they don't mess our lovely pitch up and return it too us in the new year in the condition we leave it for them

And I'd rather poke myself in the eye with a red hot needle than support man utd or leeds utd.

I'd rather have my nads squashed in a vice than watch a game of footy never mind Town or Man U.
