it appears that buying a season ticket is no longer cost effective!

I think it's fantastic value even the £170 tickets, 13 games and a 4th Round cup game.



The clubs is doing a grand job increasing the fanbase and helping supporters grow the club, if we want to get to the crowd levels at Wigan, Leeds, Hull et al then this shows some excellent marketing innovation in my book.

I'll always buy my season ticket Because I know it makes a difference to the club if the money is already there at the start of the season but this year with all the deals there have been it would have been cheaper not to- friend of mine lost his job so didnt buy one as usual - with all the bring a buddies hes cadged and special deals hes saved a fortune! Just hope it doesnt put people off buying next year.

There is a sweetener for season ticket holder though if you buy a ticket for a friend you get a £5 gift voucher for the shop not much but something as it's been well documented about the ease at which some get free/cheap tickets for every match in recent years especially when they were sponsored by the uni! Upsetting many season ticket holders!

I'm a season ticket holder and i would much rather have a large crowd which could/should lead to a better atmosphere than the club reimbursing me in some way.

What excuses will there be now for the wendyball ,when their latest clueless 'big signing' knocks it overt'bar from 5 yards.
