How annoying is this comment as well:-
"We must go forward with a viable facility and the stadium at the Brewery Field was not ideal at the time of the initial bid, it didn't meet certain criteria and we have to meet that criteria this time.
All this just comfirms what we knew all along. Crusaders would have got in if they had a squad of 10 over 60 year olds playing in a run down car park in wales.
I am ashamed of the people who run the sport i love. No disrespect to Celtic but i hope it does go belly up and bites the RFL on the a**e

Exactly. They should turn round tomorrow and say:
"Look, this criteria stuff is nonsense - it's to be scrapped. We (a chosen committee) will lay down some guidelines but essentially, WE will decide who participates in SL and who doesn't. End of".
At least we'll have a bit of reality from those running the game and we do away with these tiresome debates about who has more criteria points and all that guff. |
