James Coyle scored 4 tries tonight ,he must have loved that if Millward put a stop to him coming to Leigh.

He didn't have to do much in fairness. Our defence was shocking, at best.

This is what i dont understand ,last week the defence was supurb for most of the match WHATS GOING ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No pride, passion and skill whatsoever, how can a teams mental state change from being so determined a week ago to showing a sheer lack of effort?







Wouldn't read too much into that tbh, I think a 60 year old man could have scored in the gaps he was running through.

Absolutely dreadful result.I take no pleasure in seeing Leigh getting pasted like this.It's the type of score you might expect to concede in SL but not at this level.

Having witnessed that debacle tonight, I can't understand how we won last week - with the same 17 players. Tackling was woeful tonight, (after being so good last week ) and whatever you think about the coaching, he won't be telling them to miss tackles. Also, I wish we wouldn't keep messing around with positions - e.g Mort went hooker (yes, hooker!) at one scrum in their half, and nobody covered for him. I said 'Rooney's going to kick for Nixon, here - and guess what, Rooney kicked, Nixon scored! It only needed one of the twelve remaining players (Mort being in the middle of the scrum!) to show any awareness, but no!



That performance was, without doubt, a relegation one!

Is that what they're calling them now.

Maybe they went lateral on us!!

Give Raiders some credit. They would have beaten any team in the league last night. Rooney & Coyle were far too quick and from 1-17 all played on form. This often happens with a new coach.

Your results against all the other teams in our league have been quite good and you've beaten Widnes twice.

You're fans at CP were brilliant and never stopped singing and supporting there team. A lot of credit to them.

Well if you are playing a team who think it,s tick when the opposition have the ball I suppose I agree.



When we let Turk go it was a big mistake since then I usually come home from a game totally p,d off. I remember DS being appointed and us winning our first 6 NRC games. After a win at Blackpool I phoned GMR to express my total amazement at the dross I was watching week in and week out and now they won,t let me go live.



Good players need good coaching we could play the most talented players in every position but without team spirit fitness and a game plan you are not going to achieve much.

Yes, that's supposed to cause us problems, isn't it? However, did they 'go lateral' or just keep running through us?

What I cannot seem to get my head around here is that I went to last weeks game and I saw a team playing like a team with pride in the shirt.



I couldnt make yesterday due to work.... but from the scoreline and from the reports coming back it sounds like a different team took to the pitch (although I gather it was the same team).



Now I know the lads are suffering in confidence, but would last weeks result not have instilled some of that lost confidence ???????



How do you go from last week, to this weeks disgraceful effort and have any justification in what you did this week as players and coaches????
