Totally agree Lynda and I think sticking to local businesses will work. Can Trevor or Braddy not provide a contact list of local companies who already work with the club in some way??



As for the quiz Lynda that means 25% of your members attended which is a good turn out. Potentially fast forward 3 months and with 1000 members to reach out to your attendance could be 250???

Most certainly not , I am not too happy with Lynda being on the committee either , as I see the amount of work involved , you are quite right it needs more top table support , volunteer away

It wasn't all members who attended , it was open to everybody that watches the club , and was advertised as such , so it was around 20 people out of 2,000 , so more like 1 % of the people aware of it , and those people being who it was to ultimatly benifit

Steve the only businesses in this area who are going to give discount to LISA members are ones that have an interest in the club good luck asking the nationals!!

Relevance is irrelevant if its important to him/her.

Steve call it what you like my friend but on my maths it raised a 1/3 of LISA's total income in 2010 brought regional radio coverage and raised awareness of the LISA brand in the local papers. All of which should have resulted in a similar effort by the LISA committee to raise membership numbers then.



You make me laugh calling for people to come out and support the cause and come up with ideas you say yet when I do and raise good money you publically air your issues.



Also from a personal point of view I focused all my energies to arranging and completing the walk in memory of my mum and dad who both had died the previous year suddenly in a short space of time. I was actively encouraged by supporting counsellors to channel my energies in such a way. So you keep on annoyingly disrespecting an effort that helped me LISA and the club if it makes you feel good.

It isn't disrespect , it doesn't make me feel good , if you had organised the walk for charity as many others do all the time I have no problem with it , I wont comment on it further , in fact I will remove it as it isn't intended to to cause you upset



Yes you are quite correct about the LISA committee , but as I have suggested , I am not overjoyed about lynda's involvement anyway

YES it is disrespectful you call for ideas yet the one you don't approve you publically slate. The term begging could be assigned to pretty much anything to do with LISA. Do enlighten me as to what events we could organise that wouldn't be deemed begging.

And your right it wasn't Lynda's fault members werent recruited last yr it was the other mystery committee members
