Gary Van Bellen and Danny Campbell. The worst two, bar none. Stephenson was the worst value, but these two were the worst players, ever, ever, amen.

I think Ferris played 4 games in the SL season.



Just thought of other players from that awful SL season - Chris Jones, lad we got on loan from St Helens, he played 2 games and signed a RU contract!



Steve McCurrie would get the prop place with Harmon moving to sub



David Riley was a pretty poor prop while Simon Jones was also fairly limited but at least you got effort from him.

I always thought Alan Mason got a raw deal.



He was a good player playing in a God awful Leigh team. Its true what Dave said about Chris Wilkinson but to be fair he was in the twilight of his career so was always going to be the steady away safe option. I believe Chris was also a tremendous 'clubman'.



Steve Cawley just suffered from stage fright IMHO, I don't think we've had a winger since his last game in 1994 with as much raw pace.



I think Steve Wynne was more or less finished when he signed for us - his shoulders were gone at Salford, but I agree with the previous poster, he was a talented footballer.



For me you can be disappointed with the likes of Fleary and McFlurrie-but they were well past their sell by date and out for one last paycheck so for that you have to blame the idiots that agreed to sign them.
