I'd definately be looking at a halfback or hooker as a DR player, if Riddy or Paul get crocked, Duffy can play 7 if needs be.

I do see your point though and it wouldn't be ideal and I think that's why personally we maybe made a mistake letting McConnell go because if Paul or Ridyard get seriously injured then we may struggle... but we've not finished our recruiting, let's see how things look for the start of the season.

I think the idea of promoting Nicco to the first team is to cover 'Jock's' role in the side.

Agreed, I still think we were a half short last year, we had Robbie and Riddy playing half fit for the second half of the season.

It was definitely not a mistake letting Jock go and he is not a halfback. Although his defence and support was ok Jocks passing was rubbish. He would throw the ball all over the place.
