Totally agree about the ref,not once did he threaten to put someone in the bin and yes he gave 5 pens for the head shots but missed 2 that we all saw in west stand ,I thought that was the worst i've seen him ref

They did enough to win. We got the lead early 2nd half and then we just held them at arms length. I am quite sure that Leigh could have upped the tempo anytime in the game and won by a bigger margin, but they are keeping fuel in the tank for Fev game.

They will beat Fev I have no doubts about it.

You can't have much complaints about the Ref, he was poor for both sides, we were both offside most of the time and he should of penalised us more for high tackling but you got away with lots of forward passes but in the end it evens itself out, The game could of gone either way but yous came out on top and I would of took a bonus point before the game had started easily after attending our terrible performance against Fev but don't forget it's not how you start the season its how you finish it.

No offence mate but I highly doubt you will beat Fev.



If you think about it, it was the hottest day of the year so far, both sides were knackered by the end of them game and don't even deny that Leigh wern't but they clearly were, i'm sure that if you could of upped the tempo Ian Millward would of made your side do it as if you could prevent us from getting a bonus point that could be vital.



The big factor is also that Fev didn't have a game this week after there fixture has been rearranged. I expect yous to hold on in the first half against Fev but as the game goes on they will beat you for fitness as Fev are probably the fittest side in the league and add to the fact they didn't have a game I think this will be crucial so they will just edge it.



My judgement may be wrong but good look for the rest of the season and your ground is 20x better than Widnes's will ever be because at least it has some sort of atmosphere.

Can't fault Barrow never gave up even though their forwards were blowing after half an hour, their fans were great yesterday too. Long journey and way way more fans than I expected. Think the stewards moves some of their fans from the East Stand into the North too to let them all stand together which is good to see.



Tactically I think Barrow deliberately didn't put their markers square to nullify McGilvarays scoots and made him have his quietest game for us in that respect. If the ref had picked up on that from the start I think they would have struggled because our forwards got on the front foot early on but we couldn't take advantage of it with fast play the balls tearing up the metres.
