Absolutely. This is huge, for so many reasons. Personally I`ll still be renewing my LISA membership, going along to the games, have a couple of pints and the odd pie, watch a game of rugby, cheer the lads on, maybe one day even I'll win the half time draw. Nothing changes for me. For others, what ever reason it will.

What changes is the number of fans who will be doing the same.

Playing opportunities will be offered for up to 5 players via a Dual Registration or Loan System Format. The preferred option would be to loan the players on a long term basis and there is an understanding between the two clubs that in reality only a maximum of 4 players will play each week.

2. All players that will be considered for this approach will be chosen by both clubs involved and each individual case will be decided by mutual consent.





So let me get this right,it seems they have agreed on 4 players each week and wigan will chose if we can play them that week or not,how is that independant for Leigh

I think you have it wrong there Jeff , last week on Boots n All , John Kear was asked the same question about Duals they have with Huddersfield , and he said it didnt matter how many they have , or how many Hudds send , what matters is "If i Pick Them ", its up to JK , on that decision , and Paul Rowley will be no different , it will be up to him , not anyone from Wigan .

It says dc or loan.If they come on loan is that minimum month,witout recall ?.

I might except couple on loan for rest of season, two others to come on dc by mutual consent e.g we may need forwards one week,backs another.



What are the hints at the finance about? If we are taking loans at expense of players we already have ie letting them go to save money then I do not think that is acceptable and we are giving something away

PR is a smashing lad and I know he won't be dictated to by Wigan. On the other hand, what about when PR leaves one day. What if he is replaced by a coach from Wigan's set up? We will just be the full reserve side for Wigan.



When mergers were first announced everyone was up in arms about it. So they go away and rethink the idea and they bring it in over a few seasons when the Champ clubs are struggling financially. They know that their fan base will have dwindled and that they will be only to happy to merge.



It is so simple and instead of the uproar that mergers caused a few years ago, some fans are welcoming the merger with open arms. It is very easy to manipulate people when they are in fear of not having enough money.

A lot of people posting opinions on here don't actualy go to the matches or spend 1 penny keeping in touch with the club , they sit at home waiting for Fred to post the highlights and foraging about for any excuse not to go ...... just like they've always done

I can see what you are saying , and your concerns , but again its the old question "What IF ",nobody can answer that , Paul is contracted for a while yet , im prepared to see how this pans out for the rest of the Season , then make my decision as what i feel is right for me .

You are right there Wallace , myself , ive not missed a game this season , home or away , and do everything i can to raise funds for the club , but i dont think it makes me more concerned about what is happening , i do wish more fans would attend games , but this current problem , wont help .
