I'd have preferred it the powers that be just came out with what they were intending to do instead of all this cloak and dagger ticking criteria boxes rubbish.

Exactly. They should turn round tomorrow and say:

"Look, this criteria stuff is nonsense - it's to be scrapped. We (a chosen committee) will lay down some guidelines but essentially, WE will decide who participates in SL and who doesn't. End of".



At least we'll have a bit of reality from those running the game and we do away with these tiresome debates about who has more criteria points and all that guff.

And you would have to have an independent panel so no one could have favourtisim over any one team
