| But isn't that the idea of an Early Bird offer - you buy one early and get it cheaper than buying one later, thats gets the club much needed money in the off season and the fans who are willing to buying a season ticket gets it cheaper by buying it earlier then the ones who do not, thereby they get a financial advantage and the club get a much needed cash injection. Why do people always think of themselves first, the directors have a club to run bills and staff still need paying.

Dear me?! First time the club have offered us a proper early bird offer in 3 years and this is the kind of response it gets?!
If the offer is extended into January, how can it be called an early bird offer when the season starts in February? Plus of course we all buy our Christmas presents in January don't we?
No thought gone into the Early Bird Offer? No thought gone into your post morelike!
Let's all join hands, sing a chorus of How Great Thou Art, and slit our wrists in solidarity!

The club are damned if they do and damned if they don't by you then arn't they? It's a really good offer, it's been advertised well and any proper fan would have known well in advance about the offer. Run the offer into January to take advantage of people buying presents? When do you think Christmas is?

| Why? surely people have had the chance to buy it cheaper and by doing so have assisted at a time there is no income going into the club (apart from the Lottery of course -something of which we should all support as its the ONLY regular income stream the club have) if another 'deal' is suddenly started people will wait until later next season therby stopping that 'Early Bird' revenue stream and perhaps risking dissapointment if it isnt repeated.

| The Watcher congratulates the club on the early bird offer & has taken full advantage of the £110 season ticket, when you consider the price last year, £140, plus inflation of around 3% its an absolute snip & only a complete fool would miss it. Well done the club.

I think a balance would have to be struck between making sure it's a good deal, but not [itoo[/i good a deal. Don't forget that there will obviously be the income of the three friendly games that people will have paid out for, and I think if we have any 'newbies' for those games then the club should do as much as is humanly possible to get them to buy a season ticket, or at least start to come to games on a regular basis.
