Mr Hewer kept Barrow in the game and should be hauled infront of the RFL for that performance. How can you give 5 penalties for high tackles without calling for the captain and telling him the next goes in the bin, and that was the ones he pulled up. There must have been another six blatant ones he let go. They were trying to pull TGs head off right in front of him and the buffoon running the line.He stopped us taking a tap when the players were clearly behind the 20mtr line. I know Andy Thornley had just crossed it but he was in Hewers peripheral vision. If you can't see that you shouldn't be reffing.

Our discipline at getting back for the play the ball is excellent, but Barrow were infront of him all the time and at some of the taps they had not got 5mtrs. Then he pulls us for not being square.

Poor kickin game did,nt help us, and with Govin missing the ball was,nt moving to the backline fast enough the players dug deep and came up with a win against a very good Barrow side the last try from Donlan was pure magic, if Leigh up the anti by 50% they will beat Fev on monday............

Fair play to Barrow today though, good support and their players wouldn't give up. Good crowd today too, over 2500. Leigh missed Govin but Donlan's second was the best try i've seen for years.

Totally agree about the ref,not once did he threaten to put someone in the bin and yes he gave 5 pens for the head shots but missed 2 that we all saw in west stand ,I thought that was the worst i've seen him ref
