Well the price of oil per barrel is at $91+ & they are saying it'll probably be $100+ per barrel in 2011 so I wouldn't hold your breaths on a price drop in fuel.

The last strike was when I got married in 2000, over 10 years ago now.



90p a litre 10 years ago, taking into account inflation at 3%, equates to £1.20 today.



If you think the texaco garage is expensive, tey the one on Wigan Road opposite The Marsh playing fields.

That is a rip off.



Mobility scooters, it's the future, if they can have 1000 parking spaces for them outsite Ladbrokes and the pubs.

Even LPG is steadily rising.

Yeah but still some way cheaper ,considering converting car to it ,conversion much cheaper these days,i may spend a few grand on fuel alone this year , so may be worth it

barrel of oil at all time high now, strange fuel never came down when price of oil did.

Was watching a program about the cost of fuel and they say the problem is that because oil is traded in $ and the week state of the economy is what is causing the problems, if we still got $2 to the £ we'd be paying around 98p a liter. The supermarkets are only makining around 1p per liter profit





The criminal thing is that fuel duty/tax is added on then we pay VAT on the duty so we pay tax on the tax
