They are after sponsers to sponser the cost of the coaches LISA will still run them.

BWFC have successfully run free away days for fans over the last 2 seasons!

Just my luck I i'm away that weekend! Hope it comes off though, would be great to get plenty of support up there for the lads.

There are awful road works on the A1 around Gateshead which are scheduled to end around that weekend I think. Will check next Tuesday when Im back on the A1 but we could need plenty of time to get their!

This is in danger of being half baked.



Unless its pushed a bit more publically (and I havn't seen the Journal yet) then two scenarios are probable;



Too many buses and not enough fans knowing about free travel.



Not enough buses and too many fans not getting a slice of the action.



Dipping a toe in and hoping 'it'll be reet' with end up annoying one or the other. The club need to commit to 5 buses minimum to get the ball rolling and start giving the seats away first come first served to generate interest from both fans and sponsors; the cost of the buses will then be met. I am sure.



Sticking a finger in the air and hoping for a call, won't work.

They are to be advertising it via programme, big screen, papers in the coming weeks.

If we get 10 sponsers to donate 100 pound each that 3 free coaches , so it all depends on how many sponsers they can get.
