Your not that romantic then, you should be cooking your wife a meal a few times a week anyway... unless your gonna pull out all the stops with music, candles and so on but even then when does a relaxing weekend at home be just that... Sunday is valentines and you know as well as i do Saturday will be spent washing, cleaning, ironing and so forth whilst your doing jobs in the house.



Weekend away removes all the jobs so it can be just a relaxing weekend plus you can still cook the nice meal with flowers, candles and music....



Basically your tight with your money is what you mean or as some like to say careful

Anyone got any recommendations of nice hotels that they've experienced first hand?

Someone once told me about a very nice hotel in or near leeds which is right near some water, so close in fact you can hang your tackle out of the window and catch some right whoppers. Ive never been able to remember the name of it so have never been myself

My missus wants to go for a day out the Saturday before Valentine's Day (nothing to do with V Day itself which she hates, just a general day out as we've got no football on that weekend) so we're going to Leeds as it's only half an hour on the train to Cas from there. Sound.

Doesn't mean you can't do something really special. Theme it on something special to you both and if you've got kids, make sure thery can stay with grandparents for the weekend!
