Yeah sounded like a good win from the inserts I heard during the Saints commentary. Bit like when we visited The Willows just after easter and got a similar win - they all count!

We were okay in patches tonight



had alot of defending to do on our own line in the second half , first half we were comfortable had most of the ball



to many errors from both teams , silly penalties , in the first half we could of been 30-0 if we didnt drop the ball



in the second half we struggled dropping the ball letting salford back into the game



just relieved that we got the win in the end

As Morleys deck chair said to me tonight at the game... if salford were a good team then thay would of beaten us tonight.

Exactly. Those who went will know we were very poor in possession. All this about "strength in depth" is a bit gash too. Clearly missed Carvell, Wood and Westwood.



Mathers had a good game, so did King in defence.



Another joke goal kicking performance.



Riley made a shocking mistake at a crucial time (knock on fielding harmless end of set kick) which would have been enough to have Penny lynched. In fact Riley looked very average in all play esp kick returns.



Anyway 2 points and I glad I got a cheap ticket.
