Roach is one of the best props to ever play for Wire - it's just he was gash whilst he was here (bar the odd one or two games).



He said playing the season here was easier than off-season in Australia. It's no co-incidence that one of his better performances came in the 89 Challenge Cup Semi-Final at Maine Road. He'd already gone back to Oz and Balmain allowed him back for the game. Souths wouldn't let Blake and Davidson come back and the rest is history............
