Good question really. I'm delighted to say that I go to games this season feeling no nerves and equally take nothing for granted. Expect the unexpected and all that.



One thing I can say with confidence is that the way Smith has got the players working hard for each other, then I'm sure we'll be okay this year.

I fancy a Wire win this weekend. I doubt it's a flase dawn. Theres some way to at you're club yet but TS did a great job at Leeds. He is a master and will go just as well for you lot.

Hull KR Away in the Quarter Final of the Challenge Cup is a game I don't expect to win.

I don't think anyone expects to win any game they hope they win hope and expectation are 2 different things and what we have at this time is hope imo !

For example:

Wigan at home is a game I expected to win.

Cas at home is one I didn't expect to win.



Easy to say now, I know, but that's the way I felt going into those matches.

Today's game is a bit tricky considering the whole feel around the place since Smith's arrival and the standards that have been set, particularly in defence. But, the momentum that Hull KR have around them is too considerable to overlook. The fact that it is CP, too, doesn't fill me with confidence.

Its HKR in decent form that I fear, not Craven Park. Some of the players recently stated that they feel less pressure playing away from home and this can help with the performance. Playing at the HJ sometimes, I feel that the speccies add to the pressure. When moves fall down or a ball is dropped, the intensity increases a notch. The players feel it and things get a touch 'nervy' Several things going wrong and it can get like watching a group of players who have never played together.



Anyway, back to todays game. A 1 point nail biter made even more tense by 3 dropped balls in our own '30', a scrum against the feed (Wire feed), and 2 HKR missed drop goals, all in the last 7 minutes.........

And a dubious try gets dissalowed for KR in the final second, Dobson clearly grounding the ball but Bentham, being from Warrington, says he dropped it, no video ref needed...

Oh aye, I just know this game [iso[/i well.
