With regards to venues, the RFL last year prefered the games to be played @ smaller venues that were pretty full rather than larger venues that look empty e.g. us playing Wigan @ Widnes.



As expected if we draw Saints, I reckon it will be @ Widnes or Leigh

If they play a game that should be in Paris, Barcelona or London in Leigh then sod it, let's get ourselves a cloth cap and whippet each and demand the RFL take us back to winter rugby. I would just cringe.

Personally like i've said before Dragons game should be played in London, The Stoop is a good ground and is just a (very long) train ride or a plane to Heathrow or the easiest coach trip to get to for the French.



Galpharm and DW being the other stadiums in consideration.



Wire v Saints at DW, if we can't fill that or come close then i would be very surprised, it's a local derby and only 12 miles down the road for both clubs.



Wire v Leeds at the Galpharm, a big stadium with THE best supported team in Leeds and us with a very good fanbase, again, would be ideal for accommodating the support.

Cat's is a bye to the final, draw any of the other two & it's all up in the air.

Don't think drawing the Dragons is a bye, I agree it's the easier of the draws, but lets not forget that the other teams will be looking @ Warrington & saying "christ I hope we don't draw them"

Nah, that's silly. Les Dragons have consistently shown that they can step it up in knockout football and know their entire season rests on the semi-final. However poorly they've been playing (and they've been disgraceful on a number of occasions recently) they will put everything into this match and will make sure their better players are nicely rested leading up to it.



I really don't think we should get hung up on who we draw - we're the highest-placed club of those left in it and the cup-holders. We should be confident in our team's ability to beat any of the other three, and those other three should be worried about drawing us.

What's the point in making 95% of the crowd travel 4 hours or over to the chosen venue??



Cloth caps and whippets doesn't come into it, the simple logistics and not ripping off supporters should.



The simple fact is, anywhere but the south of France and the Dragons won't bring more than a coach load of fans.



If we are paired with Catalans, the venue should be one of Leigh/Widnes/Barcelona/Perpignan.
