i have driven through france extensively in a former job,it is a very long drive but if you are able to break the french leg of the journey with an overnight stop then it shouldn't be too taxing.

if anyone has a couple of days free leave the motorways and travel by the french national routes,similar to our a-roads but not as crowded,these offer a chance to see some of the towns en-route without having to cough up at the peages on the motorway.

Two questions;



Which hotel do we stay in?



What type of coach is it, is it a luxury one or a clapped out banger?

sitting on a coach for 20 hours each way isnt my idea of fun im afraid. Good price though!

Why don't you look on the Coachmaster website so you can see what coaches they run instead of asking stupid questions.

I've always wanted to do a driving holiday. Despite my increased nervousness due to two seperate incidents last year in which my car was used as some kind of tyre wall, it would be something I would consider. It would be good to learn the road rules of different countries, and see what they have to offer in the way of scenic routes.

4 of us went perpi by car 2008, round trip over 2000 miles, petrol was expensive due to poor exchange rate, dearer than uk, outward trip toll roads expensive. came back via that bridge over the gorge that was shown on mega structures. that was awesome, only trouble be aware some garages may be shut on the sunday. we nearly run out of petrol but found a 2 pump self service station, It wouldnt take our cards so this french chap used his and we give him the cash. totally enjoyed the experience but wouldn't do it again

You are obviously quite dim aren't you.



Just because they might have a big new sparkling coach pictured on their website doesn't necessarily mean that thats the one you will be travel to France on. Indeed I would be very surprised if, for that kind of price, you would be travelling on a coach that was first registered within the last 20 years.



Next time you have a childish criticism of a post try PM'ing the individual concerned instead of cluttering a thread with brainless comments like the one above

The coach on the website is ours. Its not brand new its a W Reg (10 year old). Its Air conditioned, Has a Toilet, Drinks Machine, Fridge, Dvd & Cd Player Just like a brand new coach.

But that is not the coach we will probably send.

It will Probably be our P reg 13 year old coach Which has all the same features as above but is fitted with more comfortable seats.
