Where was this warning given? if I didn't come on this site the first I would have heard is when a steward walked up and down the queues saying please don't tear your ticket out of your book?



10900 people there today how many come on here to be warned



Btw I've Always took my full season ticket and tore out the ticket in front of the turnstile operator it makes sense.

just wondering where these warnings were ?

Each turnstile has a computer reader on it. That how they get attendance. And the ticket thing has been warned about on here.

I'm sure it say's it in the book, and they told me when i bought my season ticket.

im sure it says in your season ticket you have to take the book! and now theyre just trying to cut down on the people that dont i guess!

No problem at all with taking the full season ticket to games!!

The only thing i had a problem with was a bloke in the east stand with gloves on tryin to tear a ticket out of the book and havin great difficulty,I know it was cold today but gloves and ripping tickets out of books do not go ,hence entrance to the east stand gate 9 -10 was a little clogged up....

It looked no better at the entrances at the West side corner of the South stand.

to be fair thats probably a condition that i could find in my 1981 Wilderspool south stand season ticket. which is why ive always taken my full book.



just wanted to know where this "warning" was given out i dont have a problem with it, it stops people giving their match ticket away to any random person that they wouldnt trust with their full book, if they cant attend.



i think it caused problems today that could have been avoided

I know what yer saying ,Today reminded me of the first game at the HJ what some seven years ago now,things a little dissorganised people not quite sure where they should be which queue to be in etc,I know its different but man utd seem to get over 75,000 through their turnstyles every 2 weeks without so much as a hitch so whats going wrong?????

United have more than 7x the turnstiles for the 7x spectator. They have spent thousands on computerised turnstiles and most importantly MOST supporters dont turn up 15-20 minutes before kickoff.



As for warnings, I did hear that all season ticket holders had received letters from the club about the new ticket arrangements hence why i asked a question weeks ago as my daughter hadnt

I rip my voucher out while queuing and show the book as I hand it over, and have done for years without a problem. I understand that all season ticket holders were sent a letter, although I didn't get one.

I would imagine there's no problem doing it in front of the gateman. As others have said, it's something that's always been in the booklet.
