Surely you mean it's, you need an apostrophe when contracting two words (it is = it's)!

Neither do I - spelling and grammatical errors can lead to serious misunderstanding.

From browsing this forum over the last week due to our recent fixture the things that spoil your forum are:

1. Individuals with multiple usernames who use alter-egos to support arguments.

2. The number of people who can't accept an alternative argument to theirs exists before spouting personal insults.

3. Spelling errors.

Monotonous it maybe but I think poor spelling and grammar is laziness not a lack of knowledge; I am dyslexic but make sure I have a quick look over a post before posting it to make sure it scans. I agree with the majority above, it is the dross being posted not the spelling thereof that puts people off, myself included, not their lack of grasp of a thesurus.

Yep, reckon that's right. The apostrophe belongs to the person so usually after the word, in this example poster; poster's. But as this is a plural it would sit after the final 's'. Watch me be wrong again

Correcting people's spelling mistakes is pathetic, sad and a waste time if the actual post can be read, as well as infuriating people it adds nothing to a topic.... I agree that multiple user names should be banned and i also think clique's should be banned (Those sad people who back each other up when the other is struggling just because your friends) if that was the case half of the people on this thread should be banned and the forum would indeed be a better place without you.

The problem is, LFW, that too many people on this forum take things far too seriously. The running jokes (Leikvoll's profile, word of the week, Briers can't kick - that sort of thing) are what made it interesting. Listening to people blather on about Hull being a small club (for example) or people having to justifiy missing a match or eight different threads asking how many coaches are going to the next away match are less interesting. Well, they are to me and my clique. If you want a forum full of unintelligent bla bla, well you're almost there.
