If your thinking non religious there are only so many licensed venues in Warrington. I marry people at the weekend as a assistant deputy registrar via the registry office and outside venues. Ring them if you need any more advice.

Having worked at Statham Lodge and also having had my wedding reception their I'd strongly advise you consider it.



They're very experienced and make your special day perfect.



I'm not sure if the Walkers still own it, or whether Harry still runs the weddings, but either way their your best bet in North Cheshire.

The Walkers do still own it, but Harry left a while back... I worked there for 5 years and will probably be going back after my year abroad, it's a great place and they do put in so much effort to make it as good a day as possible.

The lady that did all the organising for mine at Statham Lodge and ran the day was called Gail. She did an awesome job.

Staham lodge seems to be the best looking opition so far.Am ruling out the Fir grove just because the brother in law had his wedding there.Looking for some place different.

Best social clubs with decent sized function rooms are Rylands, Roosters, Thames Board, Boxworks or British Legions (Woolston & Grappenhall are spot on).

) doing the weddings between them, and I assume you can choose between the two...



...and, no problems with sound restrictions either, we've had a few weddings there where they've had fireworks displays in the evenings, barbecues etc...

yeah they are sill running it between them as of early Jan when i did a wedding there.

Gail was the South African lady - she was ace. One of my friends is getting married there later this year too. To the original poster - get yourself down there this weekend and have a look, try and speak to Gail if possible. What i would say is if you do go try and go early-ish on a saturday. If they've got a wedding on they'll show you the room(s) set up.

Am taking a look at Statham lodge this weekend.As for the legion my soon to be father in law is well in with legion.He spends most of his time at the one in Thelwall.I want a wedding with abit of a edge to it,nothing which is run of the mill.Thats why i want a hot air balloon ride and a elvis impersonator

Walton Hall in wally gardens. You book the place for the day exclusive so no sharing or worrying about timings with other weddings/funerals etc like you get in the big hotels. You have to use their caterers (Golden gates) which were excellent and very reasonable. You can book your own dj etc which you can't sometimes at other venues. They also let you store stuff til the next day (prezzies, dj eqpt etc).

Only downside is there's no hotel facility so you cant stay and get proper lashed in the residents bar when everyone's gone so you might have to come up with something else to do on the wifes big night.
