I considered it last year, your problem is the additional expense of the Toll roads. They'll add a lot of extra money to the cost. You have to bear in mind the drive to Dover, the Ferry/train, and then the fact that you've got about another 650 miles to drive on the other side.

I would consider it, however my youngest daughter (who has no consideration for her RL infatuated Father) is getting married on the same day. I think that my absence might just be noted.
