Hypothetically speaking; we want rid of a player who is on a SL salary. I would imagine the only place he could go is to NL as SL clubs would be pretty much spent up. The vastly lesser NL cap, probably, couldn't accomodate his current deal, so we would end up picking a fair slice of the tab.
Added to this, the salary difference between a RL international, recently moved to RU would be humongous. |
