Very scrappy game. Was a good run out for the guys, would have been nice to get a win for Woody but it's only a friendly and the real action starts on 7th Feb.



Kudos to Thierry Alibert, some of those hand signals he was making had me stumped.

Myler made plenty of runs which if he keeps doing this season and we get some offloads to him will add a threat in attack for us, going to take abit of time for Briers and Myler to gel and for Briers to get used to sharing the use of the ball its been years since he had a proper partner at 7.

Even if it had not been his testimonial I would probably have given Paul Wood man of the match. Thought he had a very good game.



If he can pretend its his testimonial game every week he could have a big season.

FREEZING,REF WAS AND WILL ALWAYS BE CRAP(no flow to the game). Hope Im proved wrong but thought Myler looked ordinary and put oin his place at times and will get harder treatment than that in the league. Made some runs but like all say .....early days
