Been a monster for the club and its good luck to him. He's never let us down and gave us some great memories. For me the try v St Helens when he ran about 40 yards to score under the sticks was a belter.

Let's not think the board will let players of Gareth's caliber leave without having a replacement lined up. Whilst he is a big player for us I'm sure his replacement will be able to perform to the same level. Interesting times ahead. Can't wait for the rumour mill to start. |

At first when he signed there were doubts due to him not playing many games in 2008, but for us he's always got in over 20 SL games each season so he's served us very well.
Obviously at this stage of his career a 2 year contract, and at a Yorkshire club would be difficult to turn down.

I will be sad to see Gaz go, he has been an excellent signing over the past four years. We only paid £55k for him, which i personally think was a bargain. But his salary was reputed to be £135k / yr, so on the positive side it will leave us with a big chunk of salary cap to bring in a new player.
