At one stage in the second half, the Rovers physio/water carrier (the one in the orange top) was on the pitch for 4 consecutive sets of six, without actually administering any treatment, or giving out any water, just shouting out instructions.

This is getting beyond a joke, and needs to be clamped down on.

Its all part of the game today,all teams try to con the officials in some ways. Listened to the game today on the radio and credit to both teams for the perfomences they put in, but you must have been sweating a bit to pick up on this. Well done anyway and see you at Craven Park.

Briers is fine thanks. Had an off day today and the Lord Tony Smith

took him of for some self reflection and it seemed to do the trick as he was influential when he came back on.

Bit of debate around us today



Was Briers substituted because he was having an off day or because he was targeted by the HKR defence. There were a few marginal tackles, bordering on late on Briers in the 1st half in particular on the last tackle kicks.
