Why blame McRae? By the sounds of it we just couldn't hack it in the conditions and Celtic could. The coach wasn't the one who knocked on about what must have been at least 10-15 times. Yes Myler probably shouldn't have come back, especially after McRae said that he was 1-2 weeks off earlier in the week but today was probably one of those days when we would lose regardless.



It seems that we have some fickle fans amongst our ranks. One week there's no mention of the coaching when we win and then as soon as we lose a game it's like the end of the world and people are out for McRae's head

Goulding leaving meant we had to though. It would have been very interesting though if Goulding hadnt been recalled to Wigan to see if McRae had the balls to keep the same 17.

I hate to say I told you so...



...Salford are on the brink of being a really good team. We just cannot string together results. I honestly feel we will beat better sides than sides around us. Unfortunately, really good sides string together the results!



It's frustrating to see how much potential we have when we perform like tonight. Bringing Myler back was probably a big factor. We should stick with the more consistent players. A team that beats Saints should keep their positions (Goulding Accepted)



At the end of the day, blaming McRae is pointless, the players are given a gameplan regardless whether it is the right one in your eyes and if they don't stick to it then nothing can be expected. If they stick to it and they lose then by all means, blame McRae.



We were just awful, by all accounts...

Well played today guys. It was a tough game for both teams and both teams forwards took some massive hits. By the last 10 minutes you could see both sides were so tired that even playing the ball was difficult. Even after being 12-0 up you didn't look very confident against us, strange considering you beat the saints last week.



Just gotta ask though, whats with the song about wanting to go home lol. I got quite confused by that. Good luck for the rest of the season though and safe trip home

To my mind, tonight is the worst result of our season. I think we've had a fairly decent season in terms of performances and results but to lose to a nothing team the week after beating Saints is a few strides back.



I feared the worst earlier in the season after the Wakefield,Castleford and Harlequins games but I think we have turned a corner in most areas in the last three months.



However I'm so angry about tonight as it was a real chance to kick on and when I heard us go 12-0 up I thought we were gonna get the two points but by the sounds of it we just weren't at the races.



To top it all I've just found out David Watkins is the new President of them too.



Anyway I'd be happy if we can get another four points from the remaining games we have and build on the foundations we've laid this season.

Not Salfords best performance granted, but every team has an off day now and then. Remember McRae got you into Superleague by merit, despite the franchise system and you beat Leeds and St Helens. What you have to consider is that after beating the top, we at the very bottom must have seemed like small fry. Whereas we are looking for wins wherever we can find them and though Wigan and Bradford are big scalps, you, being closer to our end of the table, were always going to be targetted. So far you guys are 3-2 up in our series....but we won yesterday
