Agree 100%, a few of us were talking after the game about the way he used to raise his game when he played for us against Warrington. In his 1st spell tonight he was almost unplayable. The point was made that if he could focus & play like that every week he'd be a regular international, as you say it's not so much a case of ability as one of attitude & I think that's what supporters (be it Salford or Wigan) find so frustrating about the man.

Frustrating just about sums the guy up. He's a huge bloke but also a good athlete and when he plays like tonight you look at him as a English version of Willie Mason. The problem is preformences like tonight only happen once every blue moon and the rest of the time he walks around at half pace with a can't be d look on his face.



He'll retire as a guy who's pretty much wasted his natural talents imo.

Last time I seen him play like that was when he was playing for Salford against Wigan, IIRC he scored either once or twice that game

Bit wierd for a professional to be like this. You'd think he should be pumped up for every game, i always think you can be the best player in the world but if you don't have the head to go with it you'll be nothing!

Any body else notice coleys change in physique and the physique and general condition and size of the Wigan players compared too ours last night ? It left me wondering why are our players knowhere near that level, we are after all full time pros ? Maybe I'm being harsh after only returning to sl this year however an observation worth mentioning I think.

Ps. Coley you should be ashamed of yourself the way you conducted yourself as a so called professional whilst serving the club that put you in the shop window !

This has been raised in threads on many occassion, its always been, Salford always seem to look the smaller, physically weaker, unconditioned team against most SL clubs. You only have to look at players when they leave and join other teams how much they improve (in size as well as a player).
