This is not another thread about sacking the coach or blaming players it is just about peoples views about what we do next to get out of the situation we are in.Do we have money to buy new players ?Do we get players in on loan?Are there any players available to do a decent job for us?Just a couple of suggestions, maybe im going in the wrong direction I dont know would love your views.

Lee Jewitt is the kind of player our club has been crying out for for 10 years, like all thing you wait ages then 2 (him and rob parker) come at once.



Lee and Rob are physical, hard, rough kind of forward who physically and mentally should intimidate opposition fowards, giving massive hits out both legally and Illegally sometimes to allow the game to go our way.



The only problem with at the moment is



1) Experience - He keeps getting caught dishing out treatment to opposition important players, causing penalities to be given away, no point in having a standup fight with somebody every week because the fans wont like the penality given against them and adds pressure on the team.

A bit of better coaching and a word of advice from Parker on how to be physical but not illegal all the time would go along way to making Jewitt the main stay of our pack for years to come.



2) The rest of the forwards - Because of our lack of speed out wide the tactic seems to be roll down the middle so the forwards are being overused and sum individuals in the pack are underperforming as well so it doesnt matter how many parker and Jewitt knock down they are overrun in the end.



Both Parker and Jewitt need the rest of the forwards to be going forward both in defence and attack to see their strenghts.

Listen mate - I have no beef with you or anyone else who feels their 'loyalty' stretches to bounds that I can no longer find acceptable. As for not "buying the product" - I already have with my ST (and one for my Son and one for my Daughter) and will continue to shout my team on until I get fed up of the same rubbish served up each week and then I will give the home games a miss as well. It is not something I want to do but something I feel I have no option to do, given what is happening. As Loyal Fan rightly points out - I have no problem with watching us when we are cr@p (hey we are all Solly fans so we are used to it) but I will not continually accept this lack of effort or boring one man rugby. The very last thing we, as supporters, should be doing is falling out with each other about it. We all love the club but have differing levels of tolerance. Clearly mine is lower than yours mate. No offence meant, it is a discussion forum for varied points of view. With regards the original point I think it was a clear misunderstanding and Lee has every right to wave to his children. I also think he is the type of player we need.

How do we get out of this mess? God only knows but, given we have no money available, we have to try and loan better than we have. If Wilshere does go to Hull we may be able to generate some cash or a decent exchange? I doubt we could find anyone who is putting as little effort in as he has this year - injured or not?

Ridiculously, I know that I will still be in the Shed when we are on our 15th successive defeat and nothing much will have changed but I just want someone in authority to do something instead of blaming each other and telling us they have no idea how to improve matters.

Jewitt is one of the best forwards we have got he is tryin his hardest to do whats best for the team if you wanna have a go at anyone make it someone who isn't trying. what is the point in going to a rugby match if all you want to do is abuse them you c**k

I go week in, week out. All I want is a bit of passion. The second half display on Sunday wasn't worth going to Hull for, however I will go to Hull again on Sunday because I love the club, but the crop of players we have atm (with a few exceptions of course) I have no time for, they are stealing a living. Not a bit of effort from some of them, so I will abuse them if I like, sometimes in sport, fans can lift a team which I have tried to do for years, now it is about the team lifting the fans because I am starting to loose patience with them along with many others.







Jewitt is awful at the moment, Stapleton is out best forward and at this moment in time he is streaks above the rest in my eyes, even he isn't playing very well. Jewitt maybe a decent player if he can keep his head, he came on made hardly any yards off 3/4 drives then tried to take someones head off and start a fight, Yeah brilliant forward he is.







What is the point in coming on a rugby league forum if all your going to do is abuse people?

At the end of the day there are more important things in life to worry about other than Rugby.



It's a sport, I go on a Friday, gutted on the Saturday over it by Sunday. Don't let it rule your life because if it does you won't have one.



So they lost, so what. Imagine you were playing for a team and you were getting beat everyweek and some fans called you all the names under the sun? You wouldn't like it either. your going on as if they want to lose be serious there professional sportsman FFS.



No-one deserves abuse full stop. Grow up!
