I just feel that Cashemere is that good. I only saw the 2nd half of last season due to my exploits in Aus taking up the 1st half, but in that 2nd half I couldn't remember a more dominant Salford prop in the top flight.
Good points re Highton. Still feel that Rutcho had a greater affect on the blokes around him which for me is a crucial aspect of being a prop. When Rutcho played, Salford seemed to. Never really thought the same of Highton. Maybe the fact he didn't have a big blonde mop of hair forced him under the radar |

Totally disagree with that. I thought he was quality. Faster around the ruck then Alker and with better distribution.
In NL1 in 2003 i always thought we looked better when he came of the bench and Alker moved to 2nd row. |

The reason i put cashmere in the team of the decade was he is heads and shoulders (apart from rucho and korki) above anything ive seen in a salford shirt, he has taken the pack to another level imo and hopefully other members of that pack who blow hot and cold through every season they have wore the red shirt will finally put there yo-yo form to bed

No. Borgese was signed principally as a Stand-off Half , not a hooker , but was somewhat eclipsed by the emergence of Myler/Ratchford + Paul. and the ever presence of Alker. Borgese was a gamble " apparently the you-tube video was good

Rutgerson yes - absolutely agree - gutted when he hung up his boots - but Korki????
Lots of buff & bluster, but IMHO one who flattered to decieve - dropped the ball far too much and though he "looked" impressive how many tackles did he actually break and how many yards actually made? |
