???? what chants, I go every week and stand in the Stretford end and as I go live near to United and you don't I think I am more likely, in fact the only chant you may hear is Justice for Heysel, and I bet at Anfailed they chant justice for Hillsborough (which I am lead to believe by a solicitor friend of mine is all about the levels of compensation which were paid out, and a laying of the blame) So i am afraid my friend these "chants" are not normally sang at OT bot usually amongst a bunch of idiots.

I sometimes wonder when I see some fans calling one set of fans for one activity and then doing it themselves. These are not fans just the dregs of society who attach themselves to a club and see these chants as some sort of allegiance to that club and we will not ever change that. So in my humble opinion most clubs have about 5% of fans who are scum and morans whether they are match going or not and the most vocal and obscene don't attend matches.

i for one have never sang or called utd fans munichs as my dads cousin, Geoff Bent died in the crash. i think the idiots who sing about disaters should pause for a min and think about what if it happened to a member of their familys. I am a blue and don't condone any chants referring to another teams misfortune. I think you are doing us a dis-service. What about the way the 50th anniversary of the Munich air disaster was observed at old trafford? It was the press that was stirring it, not the City fans.

But even Bolton fans behaved at OT for the 40th anniversary, it's easy to keep quiet when the whole world's watching to see if you behave or not.



I'm not saying every blue sings it, but it is unusual for an entire city end to go 90 minutes without one Munich reference.

As a confirmed football hater I had a conversation with a friend who is a Utd fan about why he is so enraged that people make Munich references but he finds it exceptable to sing about throwing other fans on a bonfire and to laugh at the poor Liverpool fan who is in a prison cell even though he is 100% innocent with another man free despite admitting his guilt.



He didnt get it and said it was meerly a joke, but by the same token it can then only be considered to be a joke if someone makes a reference to Munich.

It's a minority of idiots that every club has.
